How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your book club subscription, log into your account, email us at icanread@harpercollinsbookclubs.com, or call us at 888-965-8737. If you are a 3-month subscriber and cancel before you receive your 3 prepaid shipments, you will still receive all your shipments, so keep an eye on your email for shipping updates and tracking information.
How do I gift a book club subscription?
Great gift idea! Head over to our Subscribe page and choose a plan for the budding bookworm in your life. During checkout, enter your email address and billing information, and the gift recipient’s shipping address. This way, the gift ships directly to their door and you’ll stay up-to-date on the delivery time. You can update or cancel the subscription any time by logging into your account or contacting customer support.
When will my first book box arrive?
Your first book box will arrive within 5-7 business days from your order date. Keep an eye out for an email with tracking information once your book box ships. Subsequent book boxes will ship once a month.
When will I be billed?
For monthly subscribers, your payment method on file will be billed once a month, or every 31 days, when it’s time for your book box to ship. For 3-month subscribers, your payment method on file will be billed once every 3 months, or every 93 days, when it’s time for your subscription to renew.

What is your return policy?
We want you and your kiddo(s) to love your I Can Read! Book Club subscription. Return any book box within 30 days from receipt for a product refund. For help, just reach out to customer support by emailing icanread@harpercollinsbookclubs.com or calling 888-965-8737.
How do I make a return?
To make a return for an unopened book box, mark the box refused/RTS and put it in your mailbox or return it to your local post office. For an opened book box, please purchase a shipping label at your convenience to send the books back to us. How many books do I Can Read! Book Club members receive each month?
Book club members receive 5 exciting I Can Read! early reader books delivered to their door each month. That’s just $4.99/book or $4.45/book depending on your subscription plan.
What if I already have the books I receive?

At which level does the I Can Read! Book Club start?
As a new member of the club, you’ll receive a mix of My First and Level 1 books to start. Over time, we’ll graduate your growing reader to a mix of Level 1 and Level 2 books, with a sprinkling of the higher levels. The reason that each box contains a combination of levels is because it is important for each early reader to move between content that’s easy to read and boosts their confidence, and content that’s a bit more challenging and pushes them further along in their learning-to-read journey.
How are I Can Read! books leveled?
I Can Read! books are leveled from My First, to Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4. Our budding book club readers tend to be between the ages of 3 and 8, but it’s really all about engagement with the books. The following I Can Read! guide may help!
My First: Shared Reading
Basic language, word repetition, and whimsical illustrations, ideal for sharing with your emergent reader.
Level 1: Beginning Reading
Short sentences, familiar words, and simple concepts for children eager to read on their own.
Level 2: Reading with Help
Engaging stories, longer sentences, and language play for developing readers who still need some help.
Level 3: Reading Alone
Complex plots, challenging vocabulary, and high-interest topics for the independent reader.
Level 4: Advanced Reading
Short paragraphs, chapters, and exciting themes are the perfect bridge to chapter books.
